A few clear photos help us understand your job and find the most cost-effective way to build your fence.
Show us the whole area, take a photo from each end, and add a close-up of anything we should know about.
Add at least 4 clear photos. Portrait or landscape is fine.
Tell us what matters to you or anything we should know. This is optional.
A ROUGH SIZE IS A GREAT START
No perfect measurements needed. An estimate helps us work out your price.
1. Start at one end of the fence you want.
2. Use a tape measure along the fence line. If it’s shorter than the fence, measure in sections and add them together.
3. Include gate openings in the total. For repairs, measure only the damaged area.
One large adult step is roughly 1 metre. Count your steps from one end of the fence to the other, then enter that number as your estimated metres.
Step lengths vary. If you can, check a few steps against a tape first. This is a rough estimate, not an exact measurement.
Open Apple’s Measure app. Follow the on-screen instructions, point the centre dot at the start and tap +. Move slowly to the end and tap + again to see the length.
For a long fence, measure shorter sections and add them together. Include any gate openings, then enter the total in metres below.
These are approximate measurements. Check them if possible; accuracy depends on your phone, distance, lighting and how clearly the points can be seen.

Include any gate openings in the line. For repairs, mark only the section that needs fixing.
The aerial image may be old or slightly offset. Check the line follows your fence. Map measurements are approximate.
At the first end, tap ① Start here. Stand still for the 20-second countdown. Walk to the other end, then tap ② Finish here and wait again. We’ll fill in your estimated length automatically.
Phone location is only a rough guide. Trees and buildings can reduce accuracy, and this often won’t work for short fences or gate openings.
